Meet Wayne
This darling young boy may not have much (any?) GSD in him, but he was out of time at the shelter and way too sweet for us to let the world miss out on his wonderful self.
If you are looking for an affectionate, calm, happy, "I'm so glad to be here!" friend for your home, Wayne is raising his paw to say, "That's me!"
About 6 months old now, our little Wayne started off as uncertain and quite shy, but since coming into rescue, he's made it his business to be friends with every dog and human who wants a lot of low-key sweetness in a little canine buddy.
Wayne even recently joined his foster family at our annual adopter alumni reunion picnic where he enjoyed all the pets and all the cuddles he could get. (And he got a lot!)
This kid has all of us "we love the big GSDs" people wrapped completely around his considerably smaller paws.
So if your home could use an infusion of love and joy and companionship a la Wayne-style, please apply to adopt!
