Need a laugh? This handsome guy, Waylon, will keep you laughing and smiling watching his joyful antics when he plays with his toys! He loved to fetch balls, too. He loves every toy he sees! Very entertaining, cancel Netflix! But, wait, there's more! This boy is fabulous walking partner! He will keep your pace, slow, jog, or run. He would enjoy hiking. He is not high maintenance, nor does he require hours at the dog park. Inside he has great inside manners (although his foster does let him sit on the couch) He is housebroken, great in the crate, great in the car, knows "sit", has not chewed anything he shouldn't. He is not jumpy to humans. Does not jump onto the human bed. He is great with dogs, more of a companion dog, not a wild wrestler at all. He ignored the cats. We would suggest kids 12 yrs and up. The reason, he lived on a back porch most of his life with a couch, a crate, a handful of toys and blanket. His previous owners did not have him around kids. Then they gave him to someone who kept him in a small outdoor pen. He is learning to "trade" one toy for another since he wasn't taught to drop it or let go. He’s intelligent and very attentive. .
Waylon is an almost perfect little beagle/husky or shepherd mix, a compact 37 lbs. Low energy and based on his good teeth, he seems like he is 4-6 yrs.
old. He does not need a fenced yard, he's happy with walks. He would be fine in a condo, townhouse, or single family home. We look forward to hearing from you.
