Waylon's Story

10/17/26 Waylon
This good ol country boy is looking for love! He was found as a stray and taken in by a good samaritan. He is great with other dogs , kids, and horses. Waylon seems to be a young adult, possibly around 2 years old. Hes a good medium size boy, around 50 lbs. We believe he is an Australian Shepherd mix. He is house trained and doing great with learning how to be part of a family while in his foster home. Hes just a good ol boy who needs a family of his own! This site only lets us post 4 pictures but we have many others, so email us and we’ll send them to you.
Waylon is fully vetted.
Waylon is located in Arkansas and can be adopted locally or he can be transported to the northeast once adopted. Adopter must be able to pick up in MD, PA, NJ, or CT.
For more info, email apps.aasr@gmail.com
To apply to adopt: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059

Adopt A Stray Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process begins with an adoption application, which requires 3 non family personal references and a vet reference if the applicant has had pets in the past 5 years. We check all references, asking about their home, yard, available time for a pet, financial capability of caring for a pet, etc. We contact their vet on file and verify that past or present pets have been spayed/neutered and kept up to date on recommended vaccinations as well as heartworm prevention. If all references check out, we then use various social media apps and google to make sure there are no red flags, then we move forward with the adoption if all of that checks out.
