WATSON - NEED ADOPTER OR FOSTER WITH INTENT TO ADOPT's Story

Watson is a wonderful dog, and we are looking for a wonderful home for him. He recently came into our program, but because we didn't have an open foster home, he had to go into boarding. Prior to coming to us, he was in a temporary out-of-state foster home so we have a lot of information on him. Watson is a very handsome 6-7 year old male Irish Wolfhound mix who weighs in at 64#. Watson is housebroken - just comes right up to you and whines when he's ready to go out and does his business very quickly once outside. He is also kennel trained, but seems to be such a well-behaved, easygoing boy who we are sure he doesn't spend much time confined. He's been fine around another male dog in that temporary foster home and around a granddaughter there (age not given). We don't know how he does around cats. Watson adjusted really quickly the first day, and it seemed like he had lived in that foster home forever after only a few hours. He's really chill. He sometimes likes to go and hang out in another bedroom and sleep on the floor by himself. Really wants to be friends with other dogs. Watson is leash trained, sits on command, and is a great snuggler. At night, he likes to sleep in your bedroom on the floor.

Watson is neutered and current on distemper, Bordetella, and rabies vaccinations, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $350. Call 651-771-5662 if you would like to meet Watson. If you aren't interested in adopting him but you could foster him until he is placed, let us know.
