Watson's Story
Watson is a sweet Miniature Poodle boy with a beautiful white coat. He has a wonderful, gentle temperament and gets along with everyone once he warms up. He is learning good leash manners and rides well in the car. He came to us with his brother when their owners could no longer care for them. Watson is good to groom and overall is a happy, attentive boy who would get along in almost any home. Watson is approximately one year-old and he weighs 14 pounds.

Like many rescue dogs, we're not sure how well housetrained Watson is. However, with gentle guidance, consistency, structure, and praise, he should be easy to train.

Watson is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will require professional grooming every 6-8 weeks.

Adoption Fee: $400

This fee includes at least one health exam with our veterinarian while in our care, spay/neuter, all vaccinations (including rabies, as age-appropriate), a pre-adoption professional grooming, and a microchip with lifetime registration at no additional cost. Dogs also leave with a new collar and/or harness, leash, and a gift bag that includes, among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble currently fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also help us rescue the next homeless or unwanted dog in need. If you would like to be considered for Watson or any of our wonderful dogs, please complete an application here.
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AZST/Dog

We review each application carefully. All applications remain in our database, so please feel free to reach out if another dog catches your interest. We truly appreciate every applicant and strive to match each dog and family for a happy, successful life together.
