Watson's Story

Watson is 8 years old and he's the nosy patriarch of the family he grew up in. He's not a snuggler, but don't mistake that for indifference- he has appointed himself supervisor of all household activity and is extremely serious about treats. He's the kind of dog who wants to know exactly what you're doing and whether it's edible.

Watson came to us alongside his longtime partner Ellie and their son Finnegan after their owner passed away. He doesn't know what it's like to be an only dog, so if you've got another resident dog and room in your heart for one distinguished gentleman, Watson could be a great fit. He'll need a securely fenced yard (he's a hound, he has a nose, and he intends to use it) and is not a fan of being the only dog in the house.

Interested in just Watson, or open to adding Ellie and/or Finnegan to the mix?
helplesshounds.com/adoption-application
