Watson's Story

Watson came to Legacy with his "brother" after their owner had been in the hospital for 8 weeks and had to go into Assisted Living. He was extremely emaciated from the stress of being in boarding. He has since gained weight but could still use a little more. He is very bonded to his brother, Sherlock (see Petfinder Profile), and they MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER!

Watson is approximately 3 years old, and a very sweet, lovable boy. He likes to play, but is also a total couch potato. His favorite thing to do is be close to his person getting loved on. He knows basic commands and listens very well. He can go out front without a leash and won't run off, and always comes back to my side when called.

The ideal home would be a retired couple or one where someone is home during the day to give him lots of love. If kids are in the home, it would be best if they are older as he's not used to being around small children. He is very gentle but may knock them over just wanting to be close. He is great with other dogs and cats. He barks at my horses and goats but has never shown any aggression.

If you would like to make Watson and Sherlock a part of your family, please reach out and request an adoption application.
