WASABI (Spayed!) Labrador Retriever Mix Crossville, TN

WASABI arrived at the shelter in mid November. She was listed as a five month, old, black and white Lab mix puppy. She has settled in nicely, as she is easygoing and not overly demanding. Staff was able to pair her with some other puppies currently at the shelter. So, she is not alone. WASABI is still a little girl herself. She is friendly and smart, and will be easy to train. Thanks to a partnership between the University of Tennessee and the Cumberland County Animal Shelter, WASABI was spayed and received a rabies vaccine on Monday, February 12. As a result, she can go home the same day that she is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please come prepared! That includes taking your own dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt her. Even better, consider, taking a dog crate with you to that adoption appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted!
