Walter's Story

ID 60802927
Meet Walter, and try not to fall in love. We dare you.

He’s a 3-year-old ginger pittie/bully mix with a red nose, little white socks, and the softest puppy-dog eyes you’ve ever seen. He came to us really sick, dealing with terrible diarrhea and some very painful canine coconut inflammation, but, through all of it, he just kept being gentle. Kept giving kisses. Kept being Walter.

Our incredible CBAS staff and volunteers have been by his side every step of the way, and he is healing. He knows “sit,” passed has assessment with other dogs, and at 81 lbs is somehow convinced he is a lap dog. We’d recommend a home without small kids just because he doesn’t quite grasp his own size, but otherwise this boy is nothing but pure, tender sweetness.

Walter deserves a soft landing. A real home. Some place for him to feel safe.

Come on down and meet him. You might just change his life.
