Walnut Great Dane & Labrador Retriever Mix Springfield, MO

Let's walk thru life together! My name is Walnut (aka Wally) and I would love to be your best friend. I am a dashing 1 year old, 85 pound Great Dane/Lab mix guy! I am house, crate and leash trained already, and have the "sit" command down as long as there's a treat! I love my humans and will melt into them after a walk or romp in the yard. Don't take a nap, or you might just find me on top of you (that's the Great Dane in me). I'm a big tall guy who will need plenty of exercise and a big privacy fenced yard to run and play! I love other dogs, but I will chase chickens, cats and squirrels. I get along with bigger, respectful kids (little ones might get knocked over), as I still get excited for playtime. I can use the dog door too, but much prefer to hang with my humans! Remember, I'm a high energy boy, so an active family who will be patient and committed to continue my training is must. I can see myself accompanying you on all your adventures!

***Currently I am at Pups for Parole where I am learning how to improve my leash skills and respond to commands! I will be with a handler for 8 weeks and once I am done, I will have lots of great skills that I will need to continue to practice! But, one thing is guaranteed, I am going to be a wonderful companion!***

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
