Wally's Story

Wally is a 7 yr old male Cavapoo and he looking for his person, and he's hoping they're reading this. His wish list? Someone to take walks with, keep company, and follow to the kitchen like a tiny, unpaid assistant. Once Wally chooses you, you're his favorite part of the day. This handsome boy is a pretty wonderful package. He's crate trained, potty trained, a great size, and lovely on a leash. He loves a good walk, but the best part is getting to go with YOU. Wally would do best in a single-person household where he can be someone's special sidekick. He gets along with other dogs and does wonderfully with his person, even when others are around. It's when everyone settles in to relax that sharing his favorite human can become tricky, and he may become territorial or protective. His foster family is helping him work through this, and he'll need someone who will continue that support with patience, consistency, and clear boundaries. We love this sweet boy and want to find the home that fits him best. Someone who celebrates his wonderful qualities while helping him with the things he's still learning. So, if you have room in your heart for a devoted walking buddy, a little shadow, and a kitchen assistant with absolutely no qualifications, Wally would love to be your guy.

Coastal Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy
All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected). Out of Area Coastal Pet Rescue does not ship or "transport" animals out of area. All adopters must be available to come to Savannah, GA to complete the adoption after approval. Microchip: CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf. Adoption Fees: Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
