Waffles

This handsome boy is Waffles! Waffles is a 10 year old bull dog/boxer mix. He is relatively small in size but is a sturdy boy being around 60 lbs. Everyone he meets is his best friend and he loves to be pet and have all the attention! He spends most of his time relaxing and being a couch potato but he has some spunk left for rainy days and likes to play with other dogs. He doesn't run but he does what we have named the Waffle Waddle. Waffles would do best in a home with out cats as he thinks they are too fun to chase. He is also very selective about the dogs he is okay with, he would do best in a home with no other dogs. He can't read other dogs body language well and can mistake excitement for aggression. We work hard to ensure that our rescues have a supportive family while at foster homes to help them move forward and get ready for their forever home. We work on training, crate-training and socialization before a dog is adopted out. Foster homes are extremely important to the success of the cat at their forever home, and it is extremely rewarding to be able to watch the cats growth as you help them on their journey to their happy ending.
