When he first arrived at the shelter, he was extremely fearful and had little trust in people. Thanks to the patience, love, and consistency of our volunteer Elizabeth & our staff he's made incredible progress and has formed bonds with the people he knows.<br/><br/>Vito is still a bit of a Sour Patch Kid—sometimes sweet, sometimes sour—but once you earn his trust, you'll see just how special he is.<br/><br/>He's looking for a calm, adult-only home with someone who understands that trust takes time. Vito will need a patient, consistent adopter who is willing to let him move at his own pace and continue building on the confidence he's gained.<br/><br/>Watching Vito blossom has been one of our greatest joys, and we know the right person is out there to help him write the next chapter of his story.
