Just under a week ago, our sweet Vita underwent emergency surgery after being bred to a dog far too large for her. Tragically, none of her puppies survived, but true to the meaning of her name, Vita has proven to be a true life force.<br/>She has amazed us with her resilience. Every day she grows stronger, happier, and it's clear she's feeling like a brand-new girl. Her incision is healing beautifully, and she is well on her way to being ready for a family who will love and cherish her the way every dog deserves.<br/>Vita is currently recovering in a wonderful foster home where she's thriving. She is dog-friendly, cat-friendly, incredibly smart, and eager to please—just what you'd expect from a German Shorthaired Pointer! She has already mastered sit, shake, and down, and she's ready to keep learning with her forever family.<br/>Vita is approximately 2 years old and is the perfect age to enjoy years of adventures while already having the maturity to settle into home life.
