Violet's Story

Tiny Tornado. Professional Cuddle Bug. Full-Time Best Friend.

Violet is one of those puppies who somehow manages to be both completely wiggly and unbelievably snuggly at the exact same time.

Born March 22, 2026, currently at around 12 pounds, this adorable Blue Heeler mix is all puppy enthusiasm, tiny scruffy whiskers, and endless love. She has approximately three speeds: playing, cuddling, and attempting to do both simultaneously.

Violet is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She's the kind of puppy who wants to be close to her people, soak up all the love, and then zoom off to chew on a bone before coming right back for more cuddles. Her foster describes her as a total cuddle bug who has a very hard time sitting still because life is simply too exciting.

People? Obsessed.

Kids? Amazing.

New friends? Immediate besties.

Violet greets everyone she meets with enthusiasm and absolutely loves interacting and playing with children of all ages. She is completely comfortable being handled and has never met a stranger.

And other dogs? They're basically her favorite thing ever.

Violet thrives around other pups and actively seeks out canine companionship. She loves wrestling, chasing, and playing with dog friends and gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and personalities. She's submissive, easygoing, and happiest when she has another canine buddy around to show her the ropes.

She's also incredibly smart and eager to please. Violet responds beautifully to redirection and genuinely wants to learn. She has all the makings of a wonderful family dog and should do well with first-time owners and experienced dog people alike.

Now, to be transparent:

Violet is still very much a puppy. Which means:

She's working on potty training
She's learning crate skills
She'll need patient leash training
She occasionally gets mouthy in that normal, playful puppy way

She can also be a little hesitant in brand-new environments and may need some reassurance while she settles in. But once she feels comfortable, her sweet, loving personality shines right through.

The good news? She's healthy, low maintenance, adaptable, and has no concerning behaviors. She's the fun kind of puppy. The kind that makes you laugh constantly, keeps life interesting, and somehow falls asleep looking like a tiny stuffed animal.

+++++++

ADOPTION APPLICATION:
https://form.jotform.com/260401018308040

+++++++

Violet is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to the perfect forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week!

+++++++

The Truth About Rescue:

Every rescue pup is a work in progress and thats the beauty of it. None of them come wrapped in a bow, ready-made or mistake-free. They come with stories, quirks, and hearts that have seen a lot but still choose to trust again.

Adoption isnt about perfection; its about presence. Showing up for them, every day, until they know theyre finally home. Thats when youll see them bloom soft and steady into the very best version of themselves. And somewhere along the way, youll realize they were never the only one being rescued.

+++++++

What Is a Benefactor Dog or Puppy, and Why Is the Adoption Fee Higher?

Benefactor dogs and puppies are typically purebreds or high-demand rescues who tend to find homes quicklyeven with a higher adoption fee. These dogs play a special role in our mission.

Their increased fees help cover the costs for dogs who need much more time, care, and resources before theyre ready for adoption. Some dogs spend monthseven over a yearin our care, requiring expensive surgeries, heartworm treatment, behavioral training, or ongoing medical support.

By adopting a Benefactor dog, you're not only giving them a loving homeyoure also helping to fund the second chance of another dog still waiting for theirs. Its a meaningful way to make a difference beyond just one life.

+++++++

Once we have received your application, we will review and reach out to set-up an interview with one of our volunteers! If you have additional questions, please email us at SaintMuttsInquiries@gmail.com.

Note: As with all of our rescues, we recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.

Check out all of our adoptable pups and learn more about our rescue on our website: www.stmuttsrescue.com
