Violet's Story
Violet was sharing a kennel with Diesel (Malamute) in a kill shelter. She was so little and afraid, we couldn't leave her behind! We believe she was born sometime in April 2024. She has grown up in the rescue and has come out of her shell.

Violet appreciates a gentle touch and sweet talk. She is highly food motivated and has learned to use her nose, which has helped her build confidence.

She loves to train and earn rewards playing Leslie McDevitt's "Ping Pong" pattern game. When she looks at you, toss a treat for her to chase, pounce, sniff, and eat. It satisfies her desire to hunt! She also enjoys playing the "Up/Down" pattern game. She looks up at her human, and a treat is dropped between her paws while in the "down" position. It is a fun way to engage and develop a relationship.

She could possibly share a home with a male dog. No small animals, please.

https://www.dogcrazylady.com/post/pattern-games

***********************************
Visit our website for free resources and to learn about us and the adoption/foster process: https://www.chaamp.org/

ADOPTION or FOSTER APPLICATION:
https://form.jotform.com/60794585351161

ADOPTION PROCESS:
https://www.chaamp.org/adoption-process

We learn about your lifestyle to find a suitable match for you and your family.
