Violet's Story

Meet Violet!

Violet is a beautiful 3 month old Golden Retriever/Lab mix of some sort, currently weighing around 15 pounds. We expect this sweet girl to grow into a larger sized dog, probably around 60ish pounds, although her exact breed mix and adult size are our best guesses. One thing we do know for sure is that she’s an absolute sweetheart!

Violet came into rescue alongside her brother, Charlie, after an accidental litter left their previous family with more dogs than they could care for. Now this precious little girl is getting the opportunity to find a family who will love her, spoil her, and give her the wonderful life she deserves!

Violet is truly such a happy, happy puppy! She’s incredibly sweet, friendly, affectionate, and full of that adorable wiggly puppy energy. She loves everyone she meets and has done wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children. She’s playful, social, and always up for a little adventure. She’s also very food motivated and loves her treats, making her a wonderful little student when it comes to learning new things!

For being just three months old, Violet is already off to a great start with her training. She’s sleeping in her crate at night, working hard on house training, and learning how to follow a consistent daily routine. She’s a smart, eager-to-please little girl who will continue to thrive with patience, positive reinforcement, and structure. Her forever family should be prepared for all the fun, energy, and responsibilities that come with raising a young puppy!

Violet is spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and will have her health certificate prior to adoption. Although she and Charlie are siblings, they do not need to be adopted together, and we would love to see each of them find their own special family. Of course, a home together would be considered as well!

Violet is a sweet, playful, loving little girl with her whole life ahead of her. We have no doubt she’s going to grow into a fantastic family companion and bring endless happiness to whoever is lucky enough to call her theirs!

https://www.livefreerescue.com/adoption-application

**We can’t adopt to MA residents**
