Vinny is an 8-year-old, 20-pound Pomeranian mix looking for his masterpiece home.
Some of Vinny’s favorite landscapes include the fenced-in backyard (which he loves having!), where he can run around to chase the squirrels and birds and the neighborhood for his daily walk.
He also enjoys getting inspiration from dreamland by napping or playing into the starving artist stereotype by begging for human food.
Vinny takes some time to build trust with his people, but once that trust is built, his people become his favorite muse and he will follow you everywhere.
Muzzle training has helped Vinny to feel more confident to let his true colors show, so it is recommended this training continue in his forever home.
Vinny’s sensitivity to the world around him means that he takes anti-anxiety meds daily (medication is approximately $20 per month).
Vinny can be selective with his canine circle and chooses his friends carefully. He has not yet been exposed to felines and cannot be in a home with kids. In a perfect world, his home would have him as the sole animal artist or just one other animal would be alright.
Vinny is looking for a home where he can build his confidence with patient humans by his side to support him. This smart, but shy; independent, but loyal boy is looking for a home where he can build a masterpiece. Are you the one to be Vinny’s blank canvas?
His adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, & Bordetella), HW and flea/tick preventative, and microchip implant and registration.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best guess.
Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 75-mile radius of the Minneapolis, MN city center.
