Meet Vincent
Age: 5yrs
Weight: 62 lbs
Energy level: low to moderate
Overall drive: moderate to high
Location: Puyallup, Washington
Vincent is ready to be your shadow! Ready to participate in anything and everything, this loving boy will charm you with his affectionate, social nature. If he were a human, Vincent would be a food tester; he loves food above all things and would be the best judge of which is tastiest!
Vincent is a social butterfly who loves meeting people of all ages. He does well in public places and will typically ignore people and other dogs unless approached. Vincent rarely wants to interact with other dogs. He tolerates the other dog in his foster home but does not engage in play. Due to his high prey drive, he cannot share his forever home with small animals, including cats, or small children. Vincent rides well in the car if he is confined in a crate, has done well at the veterinarian’s office, and is unfazed by loud noises, including fireworks. He has mastered basic obedience and is currently working on being away from his preferred person. Vincent does well in the crate in his foster home but is still working on staying in it calmly when left alone.
Vincent would thrive in a home where his person would spend most of their time with him. He would love to go on regular walks and hikes, and would also need someone willing to play daily (or moreso!) fetch games with him. Vincent would do great a high-speed sports such as agility or Fast Cat, if his new family might be interested. Vincent is a work of art and is ready to “Van Gogh” for you!
