Villie's Story

10/20/2026

Villie is an approximately 11 week old mixed breed pup that currently weighs 3 pounds. He came to us with his brother Barroll who is slightly larger than him. Villie has those chi ears and smaller build but is a tough little guy that can hold his own with the bigger boys! We offered to help with these boys knowing that Villie will need cherry eye surgery for both eyes and we still intend to get him through that but they want to wait until he is about six months old so that he is bigger and better suited for anesthesia. We were hoping to have the surgery done ASAP but we forget how tiny he is despite being almost 3 months old. His ears make him look bigger than he really is.
So, we would love to find a local adopter for this boy, so his family can begin loving on him and bonding and we will cover his surgery when he is six months. We hate for him and his potential family to miss out on his puppyhood. He will need his eye gel everyday until he has surgery, but we will cover that as well.

Villie is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. He will be adopted with a neuter agreement due to his size and age and the reimbursement fee will be discussed with our adoption coordinator. His adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you feel appropriate. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Ashley Reum.

You must have an approved application before being able to visit a dog. Visit our website below for an adoption application https://www.snootygiggles.com/dog-application/

If you expect to leave the dog alone for long periods of time, please do not consider adopting a puppy. Puppies need lots of attention and companionship. Thanks.

All known information about the animal is listed above. We do our best to give accurate information, but most of our dogs are rescues and do not come with a known history.
