Victoria's Story

Oh, Victoria. Or as she’s more commonly referred to: Vicky-Vic-Vicky girl. One name simply isn’t enough for a dog with this much personality. She responds to all of them… usually. But only after you give her a proper handshake.

That’s right — Victoria demands a handshake before any major life event. Getting out of her crate? Handshake. Coming inside from the yard? Handshake. Picking up a pup cup in the Starbucks drive-thru? You better stretch out that hand, friend. And if she really likes you? She’ll stand up on two legs like a fluffy little weirdo and give you a full-on bear hug. You’ve been chosen.

Victoria is all the best dog adjectives — sweet, playful, cuddly — but in her own delightfully oddball way. She’s quiet, calm, and always down for quality time… but she also has a wild streak, especially when it comes to her favorite game, which we can only describe as:
“AHHH AHH AHHH!!!”

The rules? Simple. She crouches down like a tiny linebacker, and then you — yes, you — must run at her with jazz hands in the air while yelling “ahhh ahh ahhh!!!” (Don’t worry about what the neighbors think. You’ve committed now.) This triggers turbo zoomies so powerful and uncoordinated you might want to clear the yard. She’ll spin, leap, accidentally run into your leg, and then come back for round two.

Then there’s Human Fetch. You throw the ball, she chases it with the speed and grace of a potato rolling downhill, then gets the zoomies again, and the fun twist? You have to chase her to get the ball back. And yes, she finds this endlessly hilarious.

Victoria is a one-human (or two-human) kind of dog. Other dogs? Nah. Cats? Nope. She’s not trying to share her couch, her snacks, or her hugs. And honestly, with how perfect she is, can you blame her?

A little shy at first, Victoria warms up fast if you’ve got patience, kindness, and, of course, a strong handshake game. Once you’re in her circle of trust, you’re family. Forever.

If you’re looking for a quirky, sweet, low-key hilarious best friend who believes formal greetings should never go out of style — Victoria’s ready to meet you (paw first, obviously).
