Hi there, I'm Vernon! I am a super snuggly sweetheart. I have the the softest, rabbit-like fur you’ll ever touch. I'm a bulldog mix with the cutest underbite, really, I'm a total cuddlebug and love nothing more than curling up close for a nap—or playing joyfully with other dogs.<br/><br/>Before rescue, I was surviving as a stray on the streets for months, too scared to trust despite many kindhearted attempts. When I finally decided it was okay to trust and taken in, I had some serious wounds from life outside — I got some TLC, antibiotics, and love. But that is all behind me now and my foster says I've healed beautifully, both inside and out.<br/><br/>I have been told that I can have a very serious look but I am gentle, affectionate, and ready to bond deeply with a forever family.
