Meet Vega!<br/><br/>A beautiful 6 year old Rottweiler with a giant head, an even bigger heart, and so much love still left to give! Vega came to our shelter after her previous family could no longer keep her in their home. While she previously lived with other dogs, she’s made it clear that at this stage in life, she’d much rather be the star of the show and soak up all the love, attention, and comfy spots in the house for herself. Because of this, Vega is looking for a home where she can be your one and only canine companion — and trust us, she has more than enough affection to fill the space!<br/><br/>This sweet girl is BIG… even by Rottweiler standards. When Vega first arrived with us, she was extremely overweight. We’ve been working hard to help her start feeling healthier and more comfortable, and while she’s already made progress, but her weight loss journey will need to continue in her new home with a family committed to helping her stay active, manage her diet thoughtfully, and keep moving toward the happy, healthy, and comfortable life she deserves! <br/><br/>Beneath all those extra pounds is a loyal, loving dog who absolutely adores her people.<br/><br/>Vega’s favorite thing in the world is spending time with humans. She’s affectionate, devoted, and gives the impression that once she chooses her people, she’ll love them with her whole heart.
