Vaughn's Story

Vaughn is ready to discover her furever home! Vaughn came to us in a challenging state, but we've worked tirelessly to transform her into the perfect companion she is today. She's undergone several life-changing surgeries, including bilateral cherry eye surgery and bilateral entropion surgery, and has also been spayed and completed Heartworm treatment - what a triumph! Vaughn does require daily eye drops for dry eye(3x), but she's incredibly resilient. Despite potential sight issues due to her past, she's learned to adapt just fine. We estimate Vaughn is between 2-5 years old, and her unique blend of Boxer, Bulldog, and probably Pitbull heritage makes her a true gem. This stunning 55-60lb lady has overcome incredible obstacles, and her remarkable spirit shines through. Vaughn is eager to meet her forever family, and we're confident you'll fall deeply in love with her. Soul Mutts Rescue CT's Adoption Policy

Adopters will complete an application that can be found on our website @ www.wwk9rescue.com or you can email us at westleyswishk9rescue@gmail.com. Our application request includes your contact information, personal references, vet reference and several questions so that we will be able to assist you in finding your "soul mutt". Home checks will be required prior to adoption. Please note that rentals/leases will need landlord contact information or written agreement and home owners will need a proof of ownership form (i.e. deed, payment book, or written confirmation from mortgage company). Adoption fees: $450 unless otherwise specified.. All dogs will have at minimum: Rabies vaccination, distemper vaccination series, microchipped, as well as spay/neuter prior to adoption.
