Hello, I'm Van. My Dad said I was his best friend! We took walks together and laid on the couch and watched football games. I even got to sleep in bed at night with him. We were very happy for many years. A few months ago one my Dad brought home a lady, she seemed real nice and my Dad liked her and so did I. Then my Dad and the lady got married, shortly after she got a ring on her finger she said I had to go! So my Dad told me I had to live outside and wasn't allowed back into my home ever again! I was so sad, I cried and cried in the backyard. My dad put a shock collar on me real tight trying to make me be quiet. I tried real hard to be good but I was lonely and confused. Thankfully I'm now safe and in a loving foster home. Now I'm waiting for a nice family who will love me enough to let me be with them all the time! To lay on the couch and maybe in the bed too! People need to be patient with me because my heart is broken. I'm scared but loving and kind. I like other dogs once I get to know them and I love kids. I am currently living with several other dogs one very big and one very small. Van is up to date on shots, heartworm meds, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.00.
