Valkyrie's Story
Over 60 days. Zero applications. Zero interest.

We truly don't understand it.

Valkyrie has been in our care for more than two months, patiently waiting for a family to choose her. Day after day, she watches other dogs leave for their forever homes while she continues to wait.

We keep telling her her turn is coming.

We just wish it would come sooner.

At only 13 pounds, Valkyrie is proof that resilience is real. She was rescued from a severe hoarding situation alongside 44 other dogs, arriving frightened, underweight, and unsure of the world around her.

But she refused to let that be the end of her story.

Today, Valkyrie is healthy, happy, and bursting with personality. She's playful, affectionate, and absolutely convinced that every lap exists for one reason-to hold her.

She would thrive in a home with another small, playful dog to wrestle, zoom around the yard with, and help continue building her confidence. Watching her personality blossom has been one of the greatest joys for her foster family.

Valkyrie has done everything we've asked of her. She trusted people again.
