Meet Valencia - in foster
Valencia- means “strong and healthy” and that is exactly what we want for her. She is well on her way to being healthy and is clearly strong - surviving on the streets of southern IL with a broken collar and dried up milk.
Valencia is estimated at just 1.5 years old, and is currently around 40lbs (but still gaining) she is gentle and sweet, albeit a bit a shy at first.
She has now completed heartworm treatment and is resting comfortably with her amazing foster. Her foster says she’s incredibly sweet and is potty trained, working on leash training, and learning how to play.

Turkey- friendly! Valencia was often seen hanging with a stray cat and a wild Turkey before her rescue!
Fenced yard required
She has continued making an amazing transformation as she heals from her previous life and is now ready to complete her journey with her forever family.
