UT/Boone's Story
Boone is a 3.5-year-old goofy, happy boy who is always smiling and wanting to have fun with his foster siblings and his people. He loves running, toys, and treats. Boone is extremely affectionate and wants his family to include him in all their activities. He is quite the cuddler once he has had his exercise. Boone’s foster mom is working with him on manners and commands. He loves to please and is coming along nicely on his training. Since his previous owner died, Boone is a little insecure and will need a family that will help build his confidence. His new family should expect to continue with his training which is not only a bonding experience but will provide Boone the structure he needs to provide him with that confidence. He will do best in a home where someone is home most of the day.

Boone will need a home with a good-sized yard surrounded by a secure 6-foot-tall privacy fence. He loves to run around the yard and chase squirrels. He needs daily exercise to keep him out of mischief - he is athletic and adventurous enough to clear a fence and go on walkabout if not provided with enough stimulation by his family. Boone would do well with another friendly dog to play with in the home but he could also do well in a home as the only dog. Boone would love multiple walks a day and would do well with a runner. Boone is the perfect pup for Brittany lovers who understand their energy, exercise needs, affectionate nature, and smarts.

Boone is neutered, current on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Boone’s adoption fee is $400. If you are interested in making Boone a member of your family, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the online application under the Adopt tab. If you have questions after you complete the application, please contact Patti at 801.641.4053. A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process. Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs. We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.
