Usher's Story
**Meet Usher!** ?

Introducing Usher, our cheerful 2-year-old buddy who’s always up for some fun! He’s a little mix of beagle, pug, chihuahua, dachshund, yorkie, and maybe even more! Weighing about 15 pounds, he has long legs and a small head, and his happy-go-lucky personality is just irresistible.

Usher is a loving dog who gets along wonderfully with everyone—dogs, cats, and people alike. He’s a laid-back guy who enjoys the company of others and follows the pack with a calm demeanor. He’s quick to adjust his play style to fit his friends' needs. Always looking for guidance, he appreciates a little direction! And takes them well.

This sweet pup loves to cuddle and is always happy to be held. When he’s not getting love from his humans, he can entertain himself with toys. Usher is respectful of other dogs' space, has great manners, and is both house and crate-trained. Plus, he walks like a pro on a leash!

Usher adores car rides, outings, and meeting new friends, both human and furry. Daily walks are his favorite. Although he may start off a little shy, he warms up quickly and loves socialising. He knows some basic commands, but a little more training would help him shine even brighter—with his reliable off-leash recall being a standout quality. He’s not much of a barker and would happily adapt to apartment or condo living, as long as he has a secure yard to play in. He’d do best in a home with another playful, active dog by his side!

**What’s Included with Usher's Adoption:**
- Spayed/Neutered
- Rabies vaccination (1 or 3 years)
- All age-appropriate core vaccinations, including Lepto & Corona (1 or 3 years)
- Negative heartworm test
- Monthly heartworm, flea, and tick prevention
- Lyme Disease tested negative
- Dewormed and fecal tested negative
- All testing done within the last 6-12 months
- Care for age-appropriate needs (blood work, dental, etc.)
- Lifetime microchip registration with free unlimited updates
- A quality protein diet for optimal health

**Adoption Process:**
- Adoption applications can take up to 3 weeks to review.
- We require at least one meet and greet before adoption.
- A home check will be part of the process.
- Out-of-state adopters are welcome at their own expense.
- We do not ship our pets.
- Adoption fees are due at the time of adoption—there are no exchanges or payment plans needed.

**For Former Adopters:**
If you’ve adopted from us before, there’s no adoption fee!
