Uhaul is just an absolute unit of a dog - a solid, potato of a chihuahua with a tricolor coat, a unique calling card of a snaggletooth protruding from his lower right jaw, and the roguish one ear up, one ear down look. Come get Uhaul! <br/><br/>Here's some notes from his foster: <br/><br/>Uhaul has the softest fur in the world and is the sweetest boy too. He is such a lover and has done really well in our home. While he does enjoy a cuddle he's also content laying around on his own. He does great alone, we've left him up to 4 hours with no issues. He's potty trained and sleeps through the night in his own bed. He listens really well and likes play with toys here and there. He has no issues going up or down the stairs, he fly's down them! <br/><br/>He loves to go on walks. At the beginning of a walk he's extra excited and will pull a little but after a block or a few minutes he settles into his walk and strolls along. He loves to smell everything. We are working on his leash reactivity and have made major strides in a short period of time. He is very trainable and food motivated (but a little picky about his treats so you just need one he likes - freeze dried chicken has been his preference). He has shown no food aggression and doesn't beg for food. <br/><br/>We recently watched a friend's senior dog and he had the best time with her. He was smitten. He does seem to come on a little strong in the introduction process but he mellowed out quickly. I think he'd do well with a small doggy companion. He also met my niece and nephew (age 7+) and immediately took to them. The kids did get a little rambunctious (loud and playing) and he was completely unbothered by them. <br/><br/>He's truly the sweetest boy in the house and would make a great dog to a loving adopter that will give him the TLC he needs outside on walks (really only needs work when passing big dogs otherwise he's perfect).
