Tyra's Story
At 8 years old and 57 lbs, Tyra is a really sweet, easygoing girl who's been doing amazing since she first met us. She's gained almost 10 and is looking so much healthier and happier.

She walks nicely on leash with very little pulling and seems happiest doing simple things like sniffing around the yard and hanging out near her people. She usually likes to explore first, then comes back over for affection once she's settled in.

Tyra isn't super interested in toys, but she is very interested in belly rubs. In fact, while getting weighed recently, she laid down on the scale and rolled over mid-process for pets like she fully expected the appointment to become about her instead.

She appears house trained, is easy to handle, and overall just has a really calm, sweet presence that makes her easy to love.

As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.

To meet/adopt, visit us in Greensboro, NC from 12-4pm any day except Tuesdays; no appointment needed.
