Tyler's Story

This is a beautiful 3 year old Husky. He weighs about 50 lbs and is a handsome, hairy boy. Tyler was found wandering the streets with no ID back in October 2025.

Tyler is a well behaved boy and polite meeting new people and kids. Belly rubs are his favorite. He loves going on walks, exploring and being brushed by our volunteers. Tyler walks well on leash and doesn't pull. He appears potty trained and non destructive. He also did well at the groomers getting bathed, brushed and de-shed. His coat is BEAUTIFUL and fluffy.

Tyler does not bark often but will "talk" to you when he wants something.

We recommend Tyler being an only dog. He is a dominant/alpha dog and can be reactive to other dogs when given the chance. With further, dedicated training and socializing with other dogs, he can live with them. Husky experienced owner is recommended!

NO CATS.

Tyler is a happy and healthy boy. Pooches in Pines, INC's Adoption Policy
We strive to match our dogs with families or individuals who are familiar with the breed. Most dogs have a high curiosity and activity level and require lots of attention, training, and exercise! We have the potential families complete an adoption application where we review it after it's received. If we feel the dog is a good match for the adopter, we will schedule a meet and greet with the family and other pet (if necessary). The next step is a home check and another meet and greet at their home with our volunteers to get our dog acquainted and settled in for a "foster to adopt".
