MEET TYE — 8 YEARS YOUNG & 100% BASSET ATTITUDE

Tye is an 8-year-old Basset Hound with the most obviously adorable floppy ears, sad puppy-dog eyes, and a face that has probably never heard the word “no” and believed it.

Don’t let the “semi-senior” status fool you — this guy has SPUNK. He loves spending time outside, exploring and enjoying life, so we’re looking for a home with:

A fenced yard
A playful canine friend

Tye is house AND kennel trained, walks great on a leash, and is extremely food motivated.

Perhaps...a little too food motivated.

He has recently been accused of consuming approximately 3 pounds of a 6-pound bag of dog treats.

Tye has declined to comment on the allegations.

He would, however, like it entered into the record that leaving treats within Basset reach is basically entrapment.

He’s also been known to counter surf, because apparently being vertically challenged has never stopped this man from chasing his dreams.

This man is VOCAL. He can carry on an entire conversation all by himself, and we’re fairly certain he always needs the last word. If you’ve ever wanted a dog who will listen to your problems and then immediately offer his unsolicited opinion, Tye is ready.
