Ty

Strutting like a rock star, Ty commands attention. He and his companion, Chee wandered onto some Greene county resident’s property to presumably join the circus of dogs, chickens and goats there. Fortunately our volunteer who runs the “dog acquisition department” (wink, nod) saw them and jumped in to bring them to the shelter. Estimated to be around two years old and weighing 24 lbs., Ty has a commanding voice and hates being holed up in a crate. The Good Samaritan that held them for a few days said that they were very affectionate, clung tightly to each other and are pretty nearly housebroken. For any JRT (mix) aficionado, we’ve got the right dog for you.

You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

Link to application: https://www.angelridgeanimalrescue.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Dog-Application.pdf
