Meet Twilight
Meet Twilight Sparkle Boots. Okay, officially just Twilight but you’ll understand once you meet this magic pup. Twilight is a 35-pound 1-year-old Hound mix who loves people and all the cuddles and affection she can get! Makes sense…what else would one want after being rescued from life outside a hoarding house?
Completely house trained and crate trained, Twilight is very respectful of her home and sleeps great all night in her crate. She also loves car rides, and is happy to be the Louise to your Thelma any time.
Let’s talk about toys! That is a huge favorite and motivator for this girl! The more fluff and stuff the better! Twilight loves to carry her stuffies everywhere with her and she loves to share them too!
Because of the situation from which she was rescued, Twilight has some things that make her a little nervous at times if they are unfamiliar, but with reassurance from other dogs or humans she makes great progress.
This sweet, goofy girl has lots of happy girl energy (she is just a year old after all) that she loves to get out in the yard or playing with a resident dog or resident kiddos. She would be a great addition to an active household.
Her foster mom says that Twilight "brings us so much joy, she pours out love.” If you can be patient teaching this sweet girl she will reward you with absolute and unconditional love and affection.

We love our dogs. We want happy lives for all of them and are looking for the home that provides the best fit for each dog’s individual needs. Please understand that there may be multiple families interested in this dog.
Also, please know that the breed mix listed is simply a guess. In most cases, we don’t know their background. We encourage you to base your decision on individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on our guess.
Please understand, we only adopt our animals out near the Chicagoland area. Questions? Email us at adoptions@sccrescue.org. Hope to see you become part of the SCCR family!
