Twiggy Hound & Retriever Mix Hudson, NH

Twiggy is approx. 1 year old and about 45lb. She was living on the side of the road with her puppies when our boarding partner found her, only two of her puppies survived. She is good with other dogs and loves to run and play! She will need someone dedicated to working on crate training (she goes in when coaxed with food or toys, but prefers to sleep on a bed next to it) and leash walking. Potty training is progressing quite nicely! She's great at keeping herself occupied with toys, or playing chase with another doggy friend. Twiggy is figuring out how to coexist with cats in her foster home. She is curious and maintains social distancing, and has not chased the cat yet.


Please note: Breed, age and estimated full grown size are only guesses and not guaranteed. We do not have a physical facility and the dogs are not located in Hudson, NH. We are a foster-based rescue and dogs can be located anywhere in New England. All adopters must be pre-approved to arrange a meet and greet, and the adopter is expected to travel to the dog's location. We do not transport once the dogs arrive in New England.
