Tupper 's Story
Little Tupper is a 5-month-old chocolate Lab/Aussie mix weighing about 35 pounds of pure sweetness. This medium-sized, fully housetrained boy is up to date on his vaccinations and preventatives, and he is ready to find a forever home to call his own.
At first, Little Tupper can be a bit shy, but once he warms up, he quickly becomes a true “velcro dog.” He forms strong bonds with his people and absolutely loves being by your side. Whether it’s relaxing during quiet time, going for walks, playing tug-of-war, or riding along on car adventures, Tupper is happiest when he’s with his favorite humans. He’s not much of a barker and has a gentle, affectionate personality.
With a medium activity level, he enjoys running, toys, and even water and swimming, but he also appreciates downtime and being close to his family. He is comfortable with men, women, and children of all ages, and he gets along well with other dogs—both big and small—as well as cats. He could thrive as an only dog soaking up all the attention, or as a companion to another friendly pup.
Little Tupper’s ideal home would be one where he can continue building confidence and be included as a true member of the family. A patient adopter who understands that he may be timid at first—but blossoms into a loyal, loving companion—will be rewarded with a devoted best friend.

If you are looking for a sweet, steady, and affectionate dog who just wants to love and be loved, Little Tupper may be your perfect match.
If you would like to learn more about Tupper or one of our other rescue dogs please visit our website https://www.joshuafundrescue.org/adoptioninfo and fill out an application form.
