Tucker's Story
Meet Tucker!

Tucker is a 3 month old mixed breed puppy weighing around 20 pounds. Our best guess is Boxer/Pit Bull mix, but with rescue puppies, your guess is sometimes as good as ours! Based on his current size, we think Tucker could grow to be somewhere around 60–70 pounds, but of course we can never guarantee adult size or breed.

This boy is SMART! At only three months old, Tucker already knows sit and down, is working on stay, is crate trained, and is doing phenomenal with house training — he’s already almost completely there! He’s incredibly food motivated, loves his treats, and genuinely wants to please, which makes him so much fun to work with and train.

Tucker is a happy, friendly, active puppy who loves to play and absolutely loves attention. He does wonderfully with other dogs, both big and small, and would likely have a blast with a canine playmate. Cats are currently an unknown, but given his young age and friendly personality, we think he could potentially do well with cats with proper introductions and guidance.

Tucker is definitely an active boy who will need a family ready to continue his training, give him plenty of exercise and enrichment, and include him in their adventures. He’s got all the makings of an incredible dog, very smart, social, affectionate, playful, and eager to learn.

Tucker is neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and will have his health certificate prior to adoption. If you’re looking for a larger pup who’s already way ahead of the game and ready to learn everything you have to teach him, Tucker might just be your boy!

https://www.livefreerescue.com/adoption-application

**We can’t adopt to MA residents**
