Tucker Hound Mix Xenia, OH

This is Tucker, he is from Kentucky! He is an owner surrender who came to us when a wonderful woman was in KY for work and came across this gentle giant. He had some fly bites on his ears and was slightly underweight but is now healthy and ready for his forever home. He is fully vaccinated (including lyme), neutered and has a microchip, he also is crate trained, housebroken and walks beautifully on a leash. We had originally estimated his age to be about a year and a half, however my vet feels he is closer to the 10 month mark. We have no idea what he is mixed with but I believe he has some kind of hound such as a greyhound. He is a big boy weighing in at 60# and almost 2 ft tall from floor to shoulder. He has a lot of the hound mannerisms, he is a talker and is a jumper when playing or wanting your attention, sometimes he will back talk. He is also a chewer, loves his chew bones and enjoys throwing his stuffed toys around. He LOVES to cuddle, he doesn't understand personal space and just wants to be close to you. We are working on basics but he knows sit, lay down, off and no BUT he is a hound and is stubborn so sometimes he is selective on listening . He currently lives with two other dogs, four cats and children from 8-14. He would do well in any home setting, just be mindful of smaller children as he does still jump (he is gentle about it) and can mouthy wanting to play, he will still need work with this. Adoption fee is $200, meet and greet required, vet reference required.
