He’s currently living with anywhere from 2 to 5 canine friends at a time and also enjoys regular playdates with neighborhood dogs and friends’ pups. The more dogs, the merrier—Trunks is all about play, play, and more play.<br/><br/>Because he has not been exposed to cats, we’re seeking a cat-free home for him at this time so everyone can set up for success.<br/><br/>Trunks does experience some separation sadness, so another dog in the home is a must. He truly does best when he has a canine buddy to keep him company and help him feel secure. A secure, physically fenced yard is also a must, giving Trunks a safe space to zoom, wrestle, and burn off his impressive energy levels.<br/><br/>This boy is also smart, agile, and curious—sometimes a little too curious. Left to his own devices, Trunks has been known to explore countertops and dinner tables like it’s an Olympic sport. Management, supervision, and training will be key for this clever guy.<br/><br/>Trunks is also a power chewer. Antlers? Yes. Raw beef bones? Absolutely. Hard plastics? Unfortunately… also yes. He’ll do best in a home that’s prepared to provide appropriate, durable chew options and keep tempting items out of reach.<br/><br/>Trunks would thrive with:<br/><br/>* An active home<br/>* At least one other dog (non-negotiable)<br/>* A secure fenced yard<br/>* People who appreciate an energetic, mischievous, lovable pup<br/>* A household ready to channel his brains and energy in positive ways<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a bright, bouncy, dog-loving companion who keeps life entertaining and full of movement, Trunks just might be your guy. 💙🐾 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting, please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption can be finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175. All residents are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. A secure physically fenced yard is prioritized if a yard is present. Temperament cannot be and is not guaranteed.
