Hey, I'm Truffle, a 6 year old Pitbull/Hound mix, tipping the scales at 62 pounds. Yep, I'm spayed, fully vaccinated, and aced my potty training!
Originally from California, I'm all about those long sunbaths and embracing the fresh air. Daily walks are a must, and I've got these playful bursts that keep things interesting. But truth be told, my heart lies in napping and snuggling right next to you.
I joined my family in 2020, and let me tell you, it's been a great journey. Initially tagged as the high-energy, impulse control challenge, I took on behavioral training like a champ. I haven't had a chance to practice my leash walking around other dogs in a little while, but with a refresher course I'm sure I can get back into my groove.
I'm all about affection, super cuddly, and I've got a playful streak. Loving, smart, and a bit silly – that's me! Due to some tension with another pup, I'm on the lookout for a consistent, loving home. My separation anxiety is on the severe side and a single pet household is my sweet spot.
My ideal home? Picture this: an experienced dog owner, an active lifestyle, and no other pets, please. Crate training is in progress, and a remote-working human would be a dream come true. I'm versatile – whether it's apartments or houses with a yard, I can adapt. Just remember, I'm a jumping champ, so a secure fence or a long lead is a must during playtime.
While I do well with kids, I'd prefer a no-kid household. But, hey, short visits from those tiny humans are cool. And with a proper introduction and controlled setting, I can handle most other dogs just fine, I just need to be a spoiled only child at home and I promise to spoil you right back with tons of puppy snuggles and kisses!
With a bit of love, consistency, and understanding for my quirks, I'm ready to thrive in the perfect home. Let's make some lasting memories together!
