His foster dad describes him as a perfect gentleman. He loves to run and play just as much as he loves to snuggle. <br/><br/>Trucker spent the first part of his life chained up in someone’s yard in Houston. The street feeders would stop by every day to give him dinner and fill his bowl. One day, his owner fell ill and said he had to go or he would be taken to the pound. The poor guy was very underweight, and all he had ever known was a 15-foot chain and a decrepit doghouse. <br/><br/>Thankfully, we were able to rescue him from that situation, and now he is happy, healthy, and ready to find his forever home!<br/><br/>Trucker is:<br/>* Fully vaccinated, microchipped, & neutered<br/> * Kennel & potty trained<br/> * Dog friendly<br/> * located in Houston, TX.........transport available out of state!<br/><br/>Want to meet this sweetheart? These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.<br/><br/>*Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.<br/><br/>*Listed breed is based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption. <br/><br/>*Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. <br/><br/>*All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
