Meet Troy

Meet Troy: Your Loyal Adventure Companion!

Age: 6 to 8 years
Size: 20-lbs

Are you ready for a heartwarming tale of resilience, friendship, and wagging tails? Look no further! Troy, our charming chi/terrier mix, is on a quest to find his forever home, and he’s got a story that’ll tug at your heartstrings.

Troy’s Journey
Troy’s life has been a rollercoaster ride. Imagine being passed from one home to another like a cherished secret. He and his lady friend faced adversity together, weathering the storms of loss and change. Their elderly caregivers, who loved them dearly, could no longer provide the care they needed. First, their initial caregiver passed away, leaving them adrift. Then, they moved in with another elderly family member, only to find themselves surrendered once more when the family transitioned to a care facility.

But Troy, resilient and spirited, emerged from these trials with a wagging tail and a heart full of hope. He’s a survivor, and now he’s ready to embark on a new chapter—one filled with love, laughter, and endless cuddles.

Troy’s Personality
Spunky and Fun: Troy is the life of the paw-ty! His playful antics will keep you entertained, whether he’s chasing his tail or doing zoomies in the yard.

Chihuahua Charm: Troy’s got that classic Chihuahua charisma. He bonds closely with his chosen person, and his loyalty knows no bounds. When he gazes up at you with those soulful eyes, you’ll know you’ve found a friend for life.

Protector Extraordinaire: Troy takes his role as protector seriously. He’ll stand by your side, ready to defend you from squirrels, mail carriers, and anything else that dares cross your path.

House Trained: No accidents here! Troy knows the ins and outs of potty etiquette and will keep your floors pristine.

Troy’s Wishlist
Yard Adventures: Troy dreams of a yard where he can sniff every blade of grass, chase butterflies, and bask in the sun. A little exploration goes a long way!

Daily Walks or Car Rides: Whether it’s a leisurely stroll around the block or a car ride with the wind in his fur, Troy is up for the adventure.

Cuddle Time: Troy thrives on human affection. Lap time? Yes, please! He’ll happily curl up beside you, warming your heart with every snuggle.

Furry Friends: Troy can coexist with other dogs, and he’s cool with cats too. Just no rowdy playdates, please—he prefers a calm environment.

Troy’s protective nature means he’s better suited for a home without young children. Teens and adults, though? They’re his jam!

Troy’s journey reminds us to cherish our furry companions and plan for their future. As we age, having backup plans for our pets ensures their well-being. So, let’s give Troy the happy ending he deserves!
