Trouble's Story

Adopt Trouble!
Trouble lost everything when her owner passed away. She didn’t just lose her home—she lost the only life she knew with her person. The dogs she lived with were split up between rescues, and suddenly she was left trying to make sense of a brand new world.

She’s about 6–7 years old, a petite 15 lb scruffy Yorkie mix with so much life ahead of her. And despite her name, Trouble is no trouble at all

About a month into foster care, she’s starting to come out of her shell. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and innocent—just very shy and unsure. The kind of dog who wants love so badly, but needs you to go slow and meet her where she is.

Trouble does everything at her own pace. She may hang back or find a safe spot at first, but with time she comes to you for attention—and when she does, it means everything. She’s already showing her loving side: following her person like a little shadow, snuggling under the covers, and quietly asking for pets

She’s scared but gentle and just needs a patient, calm home to help her feel safe and build confidence.

- Uses puppy pads like a pro
- Working on leash walking (not a fan of the harness yet, but loves being outside)
- Dog friendly (coexists well)
- Did well with kids
- Passed brief cat test
- Best in a quieter home, ideally with a female adopter
- Will be shy meeting new people—this is expected

She recently got a fresh groom and dental and is feeling so much better—clean, comfy, and ready for her next chapter

Trouble is healing. The person who gives her that chance will gain the most loyal, loving companion.

Interested in adopting Trouble?
https://phillyrescueangels.org/become-a-rescue-angel

Hulmeville, PA

Kennel #18024, PO Box 5299, PA 19064
