Trooper Shepherd Mix Chambersburg, PA

At the Beginning of December 2023, we had 12 dogs surrendered to the shelter after their owner had passed away. This group of pups lived their whole lives in barn stalls until they arrived at the shelter. They were all dirty and very scared when they arrived. They all needed some time to learn that the outside world is not as scary as it seems, and they have all made leaps and bounds adjusting to shelter life. These guys as far as we know, have never lived in a house and will need time to adjust to one. They will need homes that have the patience to work with them with new situations and help them blossom! They are all really sweet pups with the potential to be wonderful companions!

Trooper is around 3 years old and is always on the move! He was one of the dirtiest of the group when they arrived and did very well getting several baths since their arrival! He enjoys going to the play yard to smell all the interesting smells and would love to find a home where he can go on walks! He would love to find his loving forever home soon! He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/Lyme tested, and microchipped since his arrival at the shelter.
