Trixie's Story
Trixie is a 2-year-old silky terrier mix with a heart full of love. She was surrendered by her previous owner, who could no longer care for her. She originally came from someone who rescued her from a puppy mill. Sadly, Trixie spent the first two years of her life confined to a crate.

Despite her difficult past, Trixie is a sweet and affectionate dog who thrives on being close to her person. She’s still adjusting to life outside of her previous environment and is particularly frightened by loud noises. Trixie gets along well with other dogs and would do best in a home where she has a furry companion for support. She’s currently learning the ropes of being a regular dog, including potty training. While she's starting to use the doggie door and pee pads, patience and continued guidance will be important for her progress.

Trixie needs a loving, patient home with someone who can help her grow more confident and overcome her fears. With time, care, and encouragement, she’ll undoubtedly flourish and bring endless joy to her new family.

She is currently located in Rochester, Washington.
