Trixie's Story

Hi, I’m Trixie and I’m Trixie-lious! I’m a spayed white and dark grey female English bulldog. I’m about 2 years old and full of spunk! When we become best friends, I’ll show you my famous “flop”, and roll over, letting you give me all the belly rubs you can handle. I love chasing after my toys, short walks, and being held like a baby (only slightly kidding). Now, don’t expect me to bring my toys back to you when you throw them or for me to stop and sniff anything during our walk.

I love food, my bed, car rides, all people, including kids, and all other dogs- I’ve only met dogs, so I’m not sure what I think of other animals. I take treats like a lady, and know “sit”, “down”, “roll over” and “high five”. I am working on my leash manners. I do like to lick my humans, and occasionally cob them, but this is all because I love you so much. I’m also very talkative when I want to play, so you’ll know when I’m feeling feisty.

When home, I do like to alert my human to another dog barking or any other funny sounds but don’t worry, I’m not reactive to other dogs face to face.

I had cherry eye surgery, so I may need eye drops or ointment from time to time, but other wise, I am a pretty low-maintenance gal! Other than all the affection I require.

So if you’re tired of going to the bathroom by yourself, and you’re not looking for a guard dog, I’ll be your new shadow and best friend, if you’ll be mine. Please email ADOPT@VALLEYDOGS.ORG for an adoption application.
