Consider yourself warned.<br/>A medium-energy girl, Trixie is as easygoing as she is entertaining. She's crate-trained, walks well on a leash, and is comfortable being handled during mealtime. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, though she's not shy about making it clear she believes all the food belongs to her — so separate feeding is recommended!<br/>Trixie takes new experiences in stride when introduced slowly and calmly. From buzzing bees to rumbling motorcycles, she takes a curious pause to listen and learn before moving on. She is highly food-motivated and has been making great strides with recall training — though fair warning, 'treat' works considerably faster than 'come!'<br/>Trixie has recently completed heartworm treatment and is progressing beautifully through her recovery. She is otherwise a young, healthy dog — spayed, fully vaccinated, and on monthly heartworm preventative.<br/>Trixie is looking for a loving home where she can be your adventure buddy, couch companion, and resident hug expert all rolled into one adorable package.
