Triton (Mermaid Litter) Border Collie & Labrador Retriever Mix San Diego, CA

Hewo there! I'm Triton, a 25lbs Border Collie/Lab mix puppy with a heart full of love. I'm just 14 weeks old, born on 3/6/23. My journey hasn't been easy, but I am so grateful for Cantu Foundation. Me and my three siblings were discovered all alone on a mountain top in Mexico. Sadly, our mom had passed away protecting us and we were found very sick and fragile, but a kind-hearted person rescued us. They thought about euthanizing us due to financial constraints, but luckily, they reached out to a rescue organization, and we were taken in right away. Now I am looking for my second chance &
furever family.

After being hospitalized for parvo, we all made a full recovery. Now, I'm thriving in my foster home. I'm a very sweet and sometimes shy pup, but once I warm up to you, I'll shower you with cuddles. I am fully vaccinated but not yet neutered. Since I am just a puppy, I don’t have much leash or potty training but I promise to try my best!

I have bursts of energy since I'm still a puppy, but I'm generally calm and well-behaved. I love being around other dogs and enjoy playing and cuddling with them. Oh, and did I mention my love for food? I'm quite food-driven and can't resist trying to steal my foster sister's meals.

I'm looking for my ideal home, which could be with other dogs or even kids. I'm easy-going and adaptable, but since I'm a puppy, I have lots of energy to burn. An active household that can provide me with playtime and mental stimulation would be great. Although I'm still learning about the world, I don't show signs of separation anxiety. So, if you're looking for a shy, sweet, and cuddly companion, I could be the perfect furry friend for your loving home!
