Tripp Von Lo-Ryder (Reduced Rover)'s Story
Tripp Von Lo-Ryder - The Handsome Hound Who's Waited Too Long for His Happily Ever After

For a year and a half, Tripp Von Lo-Ryder has been watching life roll by from his spot at the Take Paws Stray Cafe - tail wagging, heart open, always the gentleman in the corner booth. He's seen friends come and go, tails disappearing into the arms of forever families, and still, he waits. Still, he hopes.

At two years old and forty-two pounds, Tripp is a curious cocktail of hound and heartbreak - equal parts velvet-eared charm, zoomie-driven enthusiasm, and soulful longing. His name may sound aristocratic, but his manners are pure Louisiana: a little wild, a little witty, and deeply loyal once he decides you're his people.

He's dog-friendly, loves to play, and could host a master class in comedic timing (his zoomies have been described as "interpretive art"). He just asks for introductions done right and dinner served solo - the Count of Cuddles does not share his charcuterie board. Boundaries are, after all, the mark of true nobility.

Tripp is neutered, heartworm negative, and professionally trained in the fine arts of snuggling, sighing dramatically, and staring straight into your soul. He'd prefer a home without cats or young kids - not out of arrogance, but because his heart's been through enough, and he's ready for calm, for comfort, for home.

He doesn't need a castle - just a couch, a human or two who see the poetry in patience, and maybe a sandwich now and then.

He's watched over eighty dogs find their forever. It's time the universe finally puts Tripp Von Lo-Ryder in the driver's seat of his own happy ending.

PLEASE READ BELOW:

If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, the first step is to complete an application and read all of our FAQs:

https://www.takepawsrescue.org/adopt

Please note: Information to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application.
*An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application*
All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily.
